Bennett-Biden meeting delayed in light of Kabul attacks
The White House has just announced that the meeting between U.S. President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, scheduled for Thursday at 11:30 a.m., has been delayed in light of the explosions in Kabul.
Two blasts in Kabul have left several wounded. Casualties have been reported, but remain unconfirmed.
These occurred as the U.S. military is in the midst of a withdrawal from the country by Aug. 31. A security alert had been in place since Wednesday warning Americans not to head to the airport.
