Biden administration has been inconsistent in supporting Israel's war effort, Rosenberg says

In an interview on American Family Radio's Jenna Ellis in the Morning, ALL ISRAEL NEWS Editor-in-Chief Joel Rosenberg expressed his frustration with recent moves of U.S. President Joe Biden's administration.

Rosenberg began the interview by comparing Israeli news coverage in much of the mainstream media, compared to the coverage provided by ALL ISRAEL NEWS and THE ROSENBERG REPORT on TBN. 

“Israel is making tremendous progress in our war against Hamas in Gaza,” Rosenberg told Ellis.

“You’re probably not getting that from any of the coverage on almost any mainstream media in the United States, but Israel is winning.” 

Despite Israel’s successes in the war, Rosenberg said, “this is not over.” 

The ALL ISRAEL NEWS editor-in-chief spoke about the growing differences between Israeli positions regarding the conflict and that of the American government. 

“Secretary of State Blinken is here, and I'm not happy with him,” Rosenberg stated. 

“Blinken is here to pressure Israel to do what?” he asked. “To, quote, ‘not expand the war in Lebanon'.” 

“Well, who’s expanding the war?” Rosenberg questioned. “It's the Iranian terror proxy Hezbollah who's attacking us more and more every single day. We're defending ourselves.” 

He added: “It is not helpful for Israel's number one ally to send the Secretary of State over here to criticize us like we're children – like we're creating a bigger problem.” 

Blinken has visited Israel multiple times since the Hamas massacre on Oct. 7. His initial comments towards Israel were very supportive, but later visits appear to be aimed at pressuring Israel toward American interests.  

Rosenberg was quick to praise Biden for being the first world leader to visit Israel following the Oct, 7 attacks. He also praised Biden’s agreement with Israel’s goal of dismantling Hamas in Gaza. 

However, Rosenberg was critical of Biden’s recent moves regarding Israel, especially regarding the stalled emergency military aid package for Israel, passed by Republican Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. 

“What has happened since [Biden’s visit] is, the Evangelical, Republican Speaker of the House…passed a $14.5 billion emergency military aid package for Israel in October,” Rosenberg related. “It’s been three months, Biden has done nothing. The Senate has done nothing. That’s a problem when your ally is fighting.” 

He is not the only one to criticize the Biden administration’s stance towards Israel and the Middle East. Foundation for the Defense of Democracies released a Biden Foreign Policy Tracker on Wednesday, in which they stated: “The Biden administration vacillated between supporting and constraining Israel’s campaign against Hamas.” 

In addition, the Biden administration has sent conflicting messages regarding Israel’s timeline for finishing the war against Hamas. 

During Blinken’s visit at the end of December, he reportedly told the War Cabinet that it did not “have the credit” for a multi-month war to dismantle Hamas. 

Meanwhile, U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, who visited Israel just a couple of weeks later, promised continued aid for Israel's war effort and affirmed that he did not intend “to set a schedule” for the conflict.
