IDF continues anti-terror work in Judea and Samaria during war with Hamas

The IDF and Shin Bet conducted an extensive arrest operation against Hamas throughout the West Bank, also known as Judea and Samaria overnight.

During the operation, 36 wanted suspects were arrested, of which 17 were identified as Hamas operatives.

The head of the IDF Central Command signed a demolition order for the house owned by senior Hamas terrorist Saleh al-Arouri, in the village of Arora.

While operating in Jenin, terrorists shot at and threw explosives at IDF forces who returned fire, and injuries were reported.

During the fire exchange, Eyser al-Amar, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist and resident of the Jenin refugee camp, was eliminated.

In the city of Qalqilya, in the Ephraim region, equipment was confiscated and a shop that engaged in acts of incitement and support for terrorism was shuttered.

During the activity, IDF forces were shot at and they returned fire, resulting in injuries.

Since the beginning of the war, approximately 1,030 wanted suspects have been arrested throughout Judea and Samaria.

Over 670 of those are associated with the Hamas terrorist organization.
