IDF operates in Jenin overnight, 3 terrorists killed in fighting
Israel Defense Forces arrested senior Fatah operative Ata Abu Ramila, responsible for promoting several terror attacks in recent months, in the Jenin refugee camp overnight.
Following his arrest, a firefight broke out between IDF troops and terror groups in the area, after Duvdevan Unit fighters uncovered an underground shaft used for terror activity.
Three terrorists were killed in the firefight. There were no casualties among IDF troops.
Engineering units also removed several improvised explosive devices placed along the roads in the camp.
During the activities in Jenin, a UAV identified a terror group threatening the IDF troops and fired a missile, hitting them. The number of terrorists killed in that strike is not yet known.
