Mossad Chief Barnea makes apparent reference to assassination of Arouri
Mossad Chief David Barnea spoke at the funeral of former Mossad director Tzvi Zamir on Wednesday.
In his remarks, he appeared to reference the assassination of Hamas deputy Saleh al-Arouri in Beirut yesterday.
“Every Arab mother should know – if her son took part in the October 7 massacre, his blood is in his head,” Barnea said.
“Even today, we are in the midst of a war – and the Mossad, today as 50 years ago, is obligated to take into account the murderers who raided the Gaza envelope on October 7,” Barnea continued.
“ It will take time, as it took after the Munich massacre, but our hand will reach them wherever they are," Barnea said, apparently confirming Israel’s role in Arouri's assassination.
Zamir was the Mossad head during the hunt for the Black September terrorists who carried out the Munich Olympics massacre in 1972, where two members of the Israeli Olympic team were murdered and nine others taken hostage.
