Israeli basketball star Deni Avdija records his first NBA triple-double

The Portland Trail Blazers' Israeli forward, Deni Avdija, registered his first career triple-double in the world's top basketball league, the NBA. Avdija finished with 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists in his team’s 129-133 overtime loss to league-leading Cleveland Cavaliers.
Avdija, who was initially doubtful for the game, took the court and delivered an impressive performance, matching his season-high in points. He had a chance to make his night even more memorable but missed a potential game-winning three-pointer.
Portland had led by as many as 18 points during the game, but Cleveland mounted a major comeback, securing their 10th consecutive victory, which also ended the Blazers’ four-game winning streak. With the win, Cleveland improved to a league-best 50-10 record, while Portland dropped to 27-34, ranking 12th in the Western Conference, five games behind the play-in tournament spots.
