Hundreds of Palestinian Islamic Jihad members in Lebanon operate as part of Hezbollah's Radwan Force
All seven attempts by terrorists to infiltrate Israel from Lebanon since the outbreak of war have been carried out by Palestinian operatives
With the outbreak of the war in the Gaza Strip and the escalation in the north, the security establishment in Israel identified Palestinian operatives, mostly from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror group, who operate as an organic force within Hezbollah’s Radwan Force.
This was reported Tuesday on Israel's local KAN 11's Evening News.
According to the report, these operatives even wear Hezbollah uniforms.
In fact, the Shiite terrorist organization from Lebanon has added hundreds of Palestinian activists from the PIJ to its ranks, which is funded by Iran and operates under the Shiite axis, in its war against Israel on the northern border.
On Tuesday, the military wing of the PIJ announced the deaths of two operatives of the organization from the Syrian front who operated in Lebanon, Muhammad Fares and Suleiman Suleiman, after an Air Force strike against Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
Unlike it does for Hezbollah operatives, after the death of the Palestinian militants, Hezbollah does not announce the deaths and does not issue a statement that they became martyrs "on the way to Jerusalem."
KAN news also learned that in all seven attempts by terrorists to infiltrate Israel from Lebanon since the outbreak of the war, these were Palestinian operatives and not Lebanese.
Earlier, Hezbollah announced that it had fired rockets at the IDF base on Mount Dov. They fell in open areas and no casualties were reported.
In southern Lebanon, there were reports of extensive IDF attacks in all sectors.
In the rocket attack on Tuesday in Kiryat Shmona, Hezbollah used a recoilless cannon.
Security officials estimated that the shooters also used means for the accuracy of the hit, including GPS. A mother and her son were seriously injured in that attack.
