Islamic Jihad published footage on Thursday evening of Israeli hostages Hannah Katzir and 13-year-old Yagil Yaakov.
According to Islamic Jihad, it intends to release the two abductees: "They will be released when the circumstances allow it."
It was also said that 77-year-old Katzir will be released for humanitarian reasons: "We are ready to release her knowing that we cannot give her medication amid the attack on Gaza."
Meanwhile, U.S. National Security Council Spokesman John Kirby said this evening that Israel will begin implementing humanitarian pauses for 4 hours in the northern Gaza Strip every day.
According to Kirby, these are good and correct steps: "The Israelis told us that there would be no military operations during the pauses and that it would start from today."
Kirby also added that there will be two humanitarian corridors that will allow non-combatant Palestinian residents to leave.
