Israeli soccer star Manor Solomon continues impressive scoring streak in English Premier League

The Israeli soccer star for British Fulham F.C. made his first English Premier League appearance in the starting lineup on Monday and continued what has been an impressive scoring streak for his fifth match in a row.

British media praised the Israeli star for his latest performances with Sky Sports Premier League commenting: “Manor Solomon can’t stop scoring” and Fulham’s official Twitter account declaring, “You can’t stop him,” next to the Israeli flag.

Fulham’s fan site, Fulamish, was also full of praise for the Israeli player, rating him second after goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

“Five in five for the Israeli winger. While that’s extremely positive for us, it also potentially adds pennies onto the price tag or millions of pounds more realistically. His finish showed an instinctive side to his attacking game, which was positive to see. An overall positive first full Premier League start, even in defeat. 7/10,” wrote Fulamish.

Solomon is only the fourth player from Fulham to score in four consecutive Premier League matches.

The Israeli soccer star described his joy in an interview at the end of the match.

“It’s amazing to score five goals in a row, I work hard for it, and it's something I’ve always dreamed of,” he said. “But while in the previous games, it helped the team to snatch some points or move ahead in the bracket, this time it wasn’t enough, so my goal is a little less important. I hope that in the next game, I can be dominant again and help the team and that this time it will be worth some points.”

Following Solomon’s outstanding performances, there are now several top European clubs showing an interest in the Israeli player, including Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham.

Fulham is also interested in Solomon, as they only have him on loan. His current contract is with Ukrainian Shakhtar Donetsk, but FIFA suspended the contract until June 2023 following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
