16:09 - Two civilians killed in Hezbollah rocket impact near Haifa
Two Israeli civilians, a man and a woman, were killed when a rocket exploded near them in Kibbutz Afek during the earlier rocket attack on the greater Haifa area, the Magen David Adom (MDA) rescue services reported.
According to MDA, the rocket landed in an agricultural area near Road 79 next to the Kibbutz. Another man of about 70 years was treated for minor injuries on the scene.
Overall, seven civilians were killed by Hezbollah rockets today.

15:46 - Woman critically wounded by Hezbollah rocket in Haifa suburbs
A woman was critically wounded in Kibbutz Afek after Hezbollah launched a barrage of some 25 rockets at the Krayot suburbs of Haifa, and the towns of Shefaram and Tamra.
The IDF said that some of the rockets were intercepted but others impacted on Israeli territory.

15:31 - IDF strikes Hezbollah sites in southwest Syria, near Lebanese border
Israeli fighter jets struck munitions warehouses and headquarters used by Hezbollah near the Syrian town of al-Qusayr, the IDF said in a rare acknowledgment of Israeli operations in Syria.
The sites were used by Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force as well as its weapons transfer Unit 4400, which the IDF said "is responsible for storing weapons inside Lebanon, and recently expanded its operations to Syria."
"In doing so, Hezbollah creates a logistical infrastructure for the transfer of weapons from Syria to Lebanon through the border crossings. The attack on the weapons warehouses comes in addition to the effort to strike the infrastructure of Unit 4400... and attacking a number of border crossings between Syria and Lebanon in the last month," the army added.
13:20 - Five injured in Metula by Hezbollah rocket succumb to wounds
The five Israelis who were wounded in a Hezbollah rocket attack in Metula this afternoon have died, according to reports in Israeli media.
One was an Israeli farmer and the other four were foreign workers.
The victims were struck by rocket fire from Hezbollah at farmland in the community near the border. Another man, who was critically injured in the rocket attack, was taken to hospital.
12:57 - Hamas officials reject latest hostage deal proposal
Hamas rejected the latest proposal for a 30-day ceasefire, and insisted on a permanent end to the war as part of any agreement, senior Hamas official Taher al-Nunu told AFP.
“Hamas supports a permanent end to the war, not a temporary one,”he said, before reiterating Hamas' longstanding demands of “a permanent ceasefire, withdrawal [of Israeli forces] from Gaza, the return of displaced people, sufficient humanitarian aid to Gaza and a serious prisoner exchange deal.”
The latest outline discussed by Israel, Qatar and the U.S. envisions 11 to 14 hostages – primarily women, children and the elderly – to be released in exchange for a 30-day ceasefire and several Palestinian prisoners currently detained in Israeli jails.

One Israeli sustained critical wounds and four others were seriously injured when a Hezbollah rocket exploded in an orchard near the town of Metula in the Upper Galilee, according to Israeli media.
10:45 - IDF Arabic spokesman calls for evacuation of more villages in southern Lebanon
IDF Arabic Spokesman Avichay Adraee issued a new warning to residents of several southern Lebanese villages.
Adraee instructed residents living in these areas to evacuate immediately: Al-Hawsh, Al-Bazouriya, Al-Rashidiya Camp, Al-Barghaliya, Bustiyat, Al-Hamri, Arzi, Mataria Al-Shomr, Al-Kharaib and Ansar.
"Hezbollah's terrorist activities force the IDF to act forcefully against it in these areas, and we do not intend to harm you," Adraee said. "For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately and move north of the Awali River. For your safety, you must evacuate without delay."
"Anyone who is near Hezbollah elements, facilities or weapons is putting his life in danger," Adraee warned. "You are prohibited from heading south. Any movement south could be dangerous to your life. We will inform you of the appropriate time to return to your homes as soon as the conditions are suitable for this."
10:40 - Lebanese media reports 4 killed in Baalbek
The Lebanese National News Agency reports that four people were killed following an Israeli strike on Baalbek.
"Israeli enemy warplanes pounded this morning a house in the Baalbek town of Bouday, killing at least four," the site reported.
10:25 - Lebanese media reports Israeli drone strike near Beirut
The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, said "an Israeli drone attacked a vehicle in the area of the town of Arya, east of Beirut."
The site later claimed that the drone struck a motorcycle, killing the driver.
