Netanyahu and Lapid meet to discuss ‘security’ amid political tensions
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and opposition leader Yair Lapid met last night to discuss security amid growing political tensions around the judicial reforms.
Lapid’s office stressed that the meeting would only address security concerns, adding that “dialogue will not be held until all the legislative processes are halted.”
Coalition officials have expressed a willingness to talk with the opposition but vowed to press on with the legislation.
