Netanyahu released from hospital following pacemaker implant, will join Knesset for vote on Reasonableness bill
Just two days after undergoing surgery to implant a pacemaker, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was released from Sheba Medical Center on Monday morning.
There has been ongoing speculation surrounding the seriousness of Netanyahu’s health.
Last week, Netanyahu fainted and was admitted to the hospital with apparent dehydration. However, it appeared to be more serious after his medical team released the prime minister with a Holter heart monitor implant as a precautionary measure.
When Netanyahu’s heart monitor indicated irregularities two days ago, he was readmitted to the hospital, where his medical team made the decision to implant a pacemaker.
Following his release from the hospital, the Israeli premier was instructed to rest for at least 48 hours. However, Netanyahu released a video, in Hebrew, that he intends to arrive at the Knesset later this afternoon for the crucial vote on the Reasonable Standard Bill, which has been at the center of political controversy.
