JERUSALEM, ISRAEL — Early next month, former U.S. Vice President Mike Pence is hoping to visit Israel for several days to demonstrate his unwavering support for the Jewish state in its war intense and ongoing against radical Islamism, ALL ISRAEL NEWS has learned.

While U.S. President Joe Biden and various members of Congress – both Republicans and Democrats – have visited over the past three months, Pence will become the highest profile Republican to come to Israel to show his solidarity since Hamas invaded Israel on Oct. 7.

A devout pro-Israel Christian, Pence will also become the highest profile Evangelical to visit Israel during this war.

In November, as ALL ISRAEL NEWS reported at the time, Rev. Franklin Graham was the first major Evangelical leader to come to stand with Israel and provide humanitarian aid through his ministry, Samaritan’s Purse.

Just last week, ALL ISRAEL NEWS co-founder Joel C. Rosenberg and his wife, Lynn, hosted a Solidarity Mission of Evangelical leaders in Israel that included former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, former Kansas Governor Sam Brownback, for U.S. Ambassador to the UN Human Rights Commission Ken Blackwell, Calvary Albuquerque Senior Pastor Skip Heitzig and his wife, Lenya.

During that trip, Huckabee and Rosenberg met privately with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for nearly 45 minutes.

The Pence trip has been in the discussion and planning stages ever since soon after Pence dropped out of the 2024 presidential campaign on Oct. 28 during a meeting of the Republican Jewish Coalition.

Pence – one of the most pro-Israel leaders in the GOP – is expected to meet with senior Israeli civilian and military officials and tour Israeli communities on the Gaza border ravaged by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7.

The last time Pence visited Israel was in January 2020. He spoke during the Fifth World Holocaust Forum at Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial museum in Jerusalem.

He also visited in 2018 when he addressed the Knesset. Pence was a key player in helping former U.S. President Donald Trump broker four Arab-Israeli peace treaties that became known as the Abraham Accords.
