#SetTheCaptivesFree: A prayer call to break the bonds of Hamas captivity
We at ALL ISRAEL NEWS are starting a campaign #SetTheCaptivesFree calling on Christians around the world to unite in praying scripture Isaiah 61:1-2.
Since the tragic events of Oct. 7, the hostages held captive in Gaza have gripped Israel and the world. Most people and online campaigns are directing their appeals to the Israeli government or to the international community to bring the hostages home.
Our role is not to pressure the Israeli government but to appeal to a higher authority, to our father God in heaven. We are calling on the body of believers around the world to cry out to heaven: “Oh Lord, have mercy and set the captives free.”
If you agree with the prayer of Isaiah 61:1-2, proclaiming liberty to the captives and the opening of prison doors, please sign this online petition at 'setthecaptivesfree.allisrael.com' and include your first name and country. Also, please share the hashtags #SetTheCaptivesFree #Isaiah61 on your social media.
Isaiah 61:1-2 was recited by Yeshua (Hebrew name for Jesus) in the temple in Nazareth in Luke 4:18-19.
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me
because the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor
he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted
to proclaim liberty to the captives
and the opening of the prison to those who are bound
to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor
Please watch the video below as the Editor-in-Chief of ALL ISRAEL NEWS Joel Rosenberg explains the background of our online campaign #SetTheCaptivesFree about the only ONE that can bring the hostages home.
