WATCH: Gantz entered Israel’s government because ‘Israel needs to be saved’ from radical Islam, says former Knesset member
The latest edition of THE ROSENBERG REPORT examines US support for Israel
“The gestures made by President Biden, I believe representing the entirety of Americans… is something that Israel will never, ever forget,” Ruth Wasserman Lande told ALL ISRAEL NEWS Editor-in-Chief Joel Rosenberg on the latest edition of THE ROSENBERG REPORT on TBN.
Wasserman-Lande served as a member of Knesset as part of the National Unity party, led by former Defense Minister Benny Gantz. She is also a member of the ALL ISRAEL NEWS Advisory Board.
The latest edition of THE ROSENBERG REPORT focused on U.S. President Joe Biden’s historic visit to Israel and examined the U.S. support for Israel from different angles, as Israel is still reeling from the surprise attack by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7, which killed over 1,400 people and began the current war.
In addition to his interview with Wasserman Lande, Rosenberg spoke with Israel’s former Ambassador to the U.S., Danny Ayalon, as well as former U.S. Ambassador to Israel Tom Nides to gain more insight into the current U.S. policy regarding Israel.
Rosenberg began by asking Wasserman Lande why her boss, Benny Gantz, decided to join Israel's emergency government. She responded by recalling the horrific massacre by Hamas on Oct. 7, saying, “Nothing will be the same since then.”
In light of this unprecedented catastrophe, Gantz entered the cabinet because “Israel needs to be saved,” she explained.
When asked about the threat of Hezbollah’s intervention at the behest of Iran, Wasserman Lande emphasized a message that was evident from Biden's visit to Israel last week, which, according to her, was not only intended to address Israel’s enemies, but the entire world.
Biden was essentially telling the world that “Good will overcome evil,” Wasserman Lande stressed.
If the Iranian regime were to open a new war front against Israel, “We will do whatever it takes to make sure that they don’t hurt our civilians as well,” she said in her closing statement.
