'We must remove' Israel, says senior Hamas official, emphasizing they will repeat Oct. 7 massacre 'again and again' to kill all Israelis
'The existence of Israel is what causes all that pain, blood and tears,' says Ghazi Hamad
A senior Hamas official from the terror group's political bureau said that Hamas is willing to repeat the Oct. 7 massacre as many times as it takes to annihilate Israel.
The former border crossings official for the Gaza Strip, Hamas terrorist Ghazi Hamad, made the statement during a program that aired on Lebanese television on Oct. 24.
“Israel is a country that has no place on our land. We must remove that country because it constitutes a security, military and political catastrophe to the Arab and Islamic nation and must be finished. We are not ashamed to say this, with full force,” Hamad stated during the Lebanese TV broadcast.
Hamad emphasized that Hamas would repeat the massacre, which it calls “the Al-Aqsa flood,” as many times as needed to kill all Israelis.
“We must teach Israel a lesson, and we will do this again and again. The Al-Aqsa Flood is just the first time, and there will be a second, a third, a fourth, because we have the determination, the resolve, and the capabilities to fight.”
Hamad also admitted that Hamas is willing to sacrifice the lives of as many Gazans as it takes to remove Israel from the map.
“Will we have to pay a price? Yes, and we are ready to pay it. We are called a nation of martyrs, and we are proud to sacrifice martyrs.”
Hamad then went on to flatly deny that the Hamas terrorists had deliberately tortured and killed civilians in Israel.
“We did not want to harm civilians, but there were complications on the ground, and there was a party in the area, with [civilian] population... It was a large area, across 40 kilometers... The occupation must come to an end.”
The news anchor asked the Hamas terrorist, which occupation and where? In the Gaza Strip?
Hamad confirmed that he was referring to “all the Palestinian lands.”
“The occupation must come to an end… I am talking about all the Palestinian lands,” Hamad claimed.
The news anchor asked whether that means the annihilation of Israel?
“Yes, of course,” Hamad answered, and stated that Hamas considers Israel’s existence to be the root of all evil, whereas Hamas are “victims” and, therefore, blameless in all that they do.
“The existence of Israel is illogical. The existence of Israel is what causes all that pain, blood and tears. It is Israel, not us. We are the victims of the occupation. Period. Therefore, nobody should blame us for the things we do. On October 7, October 10, October 1,000,000 – everything we do is justified.”
Earlier this month, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh shared his belief about the blood of innocent Gaza civilians, during an address that aired on Lebanon's Mayadeen Network.
“I have said this before, and I say it time again. The blood of the women, children, and elderly… I am not saying that this blood is calling for your [help]. We are the ones who need this blood, so it awakens within us the revolutionary spirit, so it awakens within us resolve, so it awakens within us the spirit of challenge, and [pushes us] to move forward,” the terrorist leader declared in his shocking statement on Oct. 26.
His statement was aired on other television networks.
