Hamas reportedly intended to use chemical weapons in attack on Israeli civilians
Israel discovers Hamas files with directives for manufacturing of cyanide weapon
Israel uncovered unsettling evidence that Hamas has ambitions to acquire a lethal cyanide weapon, Axios reported.
The news outlet’s report is based on information from two unnamed Israeli officials and a copy of a secret Israel Foreign Ministry cable titled “Hamas intention of using chemical weapons.”
"This finding points to an intention by Hamas to use chemical weapons as part of its terror attack against civilians," stated the report.
The Israeli military uncovered a USB key on the body of a Hamas terrorist who took part in the Oct. 7 massacre of Israeli men, women and children. The USB contained instructions for manufacturing a “cyanide dispersion device.”
It is currently unclear whether Hamas has produced cyanide or has an operation plan for producing homemade chemical weapons.
The secret Israeli Foreign Ministry cable was disseminated to the country's embassies worldwide, including the U.S. capital in Washington. Israeli diplomats reportedly received instructions to inform their international counterparts that Hamas seeks “to conduct attacks in a similar way that ISIS tried to do.”
In a recent interview with CNN, Israeli President Isaac Herzog showed international viewers a copy of “The Warrior’s Guide - Jihad Version,” a booklet found on the bodies of the terrorists who were killed inside the Jewish state after participating in the Oct. 7 massacre. The booklet reportedly instructs the Hamas operatives how to attack adjacent Israeli communities, including how to torture and capture Israeli civilians.
“This was found on the body of one of the terrorists, this booklet is an instruction guide, how to go into a civilian premises, into a kibbutz, a city, a moshav, how to break in,” Herzog said.
“And first thing, what do you do when you find the citizens? You torture them. This is the booklet - it says exactly how to torture them, how to abduct them, how to kidnap them,” added the Israeli president.
Top-secret Hamas documents reveal the terror group had deliberately planned to attack Israeli children in elementary schools and a youth center in an Israeli community close to the Gaza Strip.
"I saw murdered babies. I saw murdered children. I saw mothers and children murdered together," Yossi Landau recalled, a commander of ZAKA, an Israeli first responder organization.
Israeli authorities discovered Captagon, a highly addictive drug in the pockets of Hamas terrorists who perpetrated the massacres of Israeli civilians on Oct. 7.
Captagon reportedly reduces the need for sleep and creates emotions of euphoria, which is believed to have facilitated the Hamas terrorists' slaughter of Israeli women, children and elderly.
