President Biden, stop caving to anti-Israel, pro-Hamas voices in Congress, on campuses, and in front of the White House
Stand up against the lunatic Left
WASHINGTON, DC — For 20 years, Israelis faithfully, loyally, and steadfastly supported the U.S.-led war against al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan.
That war cost American taxpayers $2.3 trillion and took the lives of more than 236,000 Afghan and Pakistani citizens and residents, as well as 7,311 American and allied troops and military contractors.
Yes, the U.S. military made mistakes.
Many of them.
Yes, large numbers of civilians were tragically killed and wounded.
Large swaths of Kabul and other Afghan cities were decimated.
I was there – I saw the destruction with my own eyes.
Yet, Israel never wavered in defending the American people.
Israelis never stopped supporting successive American governments – both Democratic and Republican.
We always affirmed America’s right – and responsibility – to vanquish the forces of radical Islamism, however long it took, however hard it was, however unfairly the media or the world criticized the war.
Why?
Because Israelis saw what Osama bin Laden and his forces did to the American people on September 11, 2001.
We knew the pain and anger Americans felt.
As true allies, we supported the American people and cause every step of the way.
Why won’t President Joe Biden and his allies in Congress stand just as loyally and steadfastly with Israel?
Israel stood with the U.S. for 20 years.
Biden hasn’t been able to stand with us Israel for nine months.
Yes, he has provided weapons, and for this we are grateful.
But in recent months, he has been publicly and repeatedly criticizing Israel’s prosecution of the war.
Biden has been stabbing Israel’s prime minister in the back.
He’s been threatening to cut off the flow of aid and weapons.
He’s demanding that Israel not go into Rafah, not finish the war to vanquish Hamas once and for all, accept a premature and permanent ceasefire, and leave Gaza completely and allow Hamas to retake control of the Gaza Strip.
He’s wrong on every count.
STAND UP AGAINST THE LUNATIC LEFT
Polls consistently show that 80% of Americans strongly stand with Israel.
Large majorities of Americans want Israel to finish the job and defeat Hamas before withdrawing.
Yet, Biden is increasingly listening to the anti-Israel and pro-Hamas voices in Congress, on college campuses, and in Lafayette Square, across from the White House.
This is unconscionable.
Yesterday, I spent the afternoon walking around the White House, observing the anti-Israel protesters, reading the hateful signs, reading the terrible anti-Israel graffiti on historical American monuments.
It was sickening.
Just days earlier, as ALL ISRAEL NEWS reported, protesters – their faces covered by keffiyehs – held a banner that read “JIHAD OF VICTORY OR MARTYRDOM.”
They were seen carrying the banner while walking toward the White House and chanted: “Al-Qassam, make us proud! Kill another soldier now! Hezbollah, Hezbollah! Kill another Zionist now!”
"Al-Qassam Brigades" is the military wing of Hamas, the terror group responsible for the invasion and murderous attack on southern Israeli communities on Oct. 7.
Another protester held a sign that read, “F*** ISRAEL — STAND WITH HAMAS.”
“The only path forward against Israel’s genocide is armed resistance,” he said. “And that’s what Hamas is doing.”
The protester went on to explicitly praise the Hamas attack last October.
“October 7th was a brilliant break into Israel, to resist and overthrow the oppression,” he said.
“I’m standing with Hamas to overthrow the f**** genocide that Israel has been doing for 75 years.”
Why weren’t such “protestors” – calling for violence, calling even for genocide – arrested?
Why does Biden and his team not shut down such nonsense?
It’s not free speech.
It’s incitement to violence.
And left unchecked, it’s going to lead to disaster.
Enough.
Mr. President, stop caving in to the shrill, cruel, anti-Israel, pro-Hamas voices in Congress, on campuses, and in front of the White House.
You say you’re a Zionist.
You say you’re pro-Israel.
You insist that you stand strongly with America’s allies.
Prove it.
You can’t have it both ways.
Stand up against the lunatic, anti-Semitic losers on the American Left.
